ODBC from Linux

P: n/a

i have a problem connection from an unixODBC to an DB2 8.1 Instance.
My DB2 is registered properly and i can access it via db2 client,
now i want to establish a connection via odbc from another product.

I use unixODBC on a Suse Linux 9
The entries for odbcinst.ini

Trace = yes
Tracefile = Drivers]
DB2 Driver = Installed

Description = DB2 Driver
#Driver = /usr/lib/
Driver = /opt/IBM/db2/V8.1/odbc/lib/
FileUsage = 1
DontDLClose = 1

and the entries for odbc.ini

Driver = DB2

Description = Connection to DB2
Driver = DB2
Database = ALBDB2
All is done like it is in the documentation.
When i want to test the connection with isql

i always get the following error:
[ISQL]ERROR: Could not SQLConnect

The messages in the odbctrace are not very satisfying and do not
lead me to a solution, so i ask in this newsgroup.

Does anyone had similiar problems and may show me a solution ?
Thanks in advance
