Creating Aliases across Databeses in an Instance

Hi @ all,

Is It possible to create aliases on Tables which reside in another
Databases WITHIN THE SAME Instance.

The Problem is the following:
The created application is possible to connect to only one Datebase.
But the used Tables -by definition- are separated into different
Databases within the same Instance. So the problem is that not all
Tables are available when connecting to only one DB. Is it possible to
connect to another non-table-containing Database, where are only view
and/or aliases to the original Tables in the other Databases within
the Instance.

The used DB2 UDB is in Version 7.x on an MVS

(quite bad english, but I hope the problem becomes clear)

Thanks for helping me...
