How to implement CA Erwin change management?

Hi Listers,

I need your advice on how to implement our change management
procedures for the databases that we have through CA ERwin.

We have 5 environments (Test,Integ,Prep,Educ,Prod) and all objects are
updated through CA ERwin.

When we initialy decided the process, we used 14 different stages
until the object is created in all 5 environments and obtained all
approvals for that.

However, this process now takes too long since we have involved the IT
Architect, the manager and the group leader in the process.

I was wondering what procedures are other people using for this change
management and how many approvals do they have???

The manual process that I use, for each environment, is that I compare
the source model with target model and update target model. Then I
compare target model with target database and update target database.

Is there any other more optimum way to move the changes? Automation
perhaps...

I need your help since the process has become very demanding in human
resource.

I am open to suggestions .....

Regards,
Pantazis
