Create BLOB field in DB2 v7.2 on OS/390

Hi,

I'm new to DB2, and am trying to create a table with a BLOB field in a
database, which is DB2 v7.2, installed on OS/390.

Currently I only have a vague idea that a special LOB tablespace is
needed, and "LONG IN" has to be used in creating the table.

I've been able to create some tables with more common data types and
use them in my application. Is there any other differences between
such tables and one containing a BLOB?

Can anyone give me a clearer idea, or even better, some sample SQL on
how to do it?

Any advice would be appreciated =)
