bldrtn and embprep

Will the bldrtn and embprep scripts supplied in /sqllib/samples/c with
Application development client v8 fp 5 work on on a v7 instance? I'm
having troubles with v7 stored procedure. Everything says it works
o.k. when using bldrtn in both the v8 and v7 instances and I'm able to
create the stored procedure on both instances. When I issue the call
to the procedure, the v8 instance works fine, but the v7 fails with
the following. Any help would be appreciated.

SQL1131N DARI (Stored Procedure) process has been terminated
abnormally. SQLSTATE=38503

Also, this shows up in the diaglog

Jeff,

Yes they most likely will work. Nothing should have changed that
radically.
