problem with database since power outage

Hi all,

I've been running a db2 V8.1 databasle to store my radius server
accounting info
for a *long* time and have never had any problems with it.

Last week we had a power outage in our computer room and since then
I've been having problems with one of the 3 db2 instances running on
my server ( BTW 8.1 FP4). The databases on the other 2 instances work
fine but as far as the radius server one is concerned whenever i try
and access the database the instance crashes.
The sequence is a s follows

1) su - into the instance (db2inst2)
2). run db2start
3). do a netstat -a|grep db2 to check that the instance is listening
4). fire up the db2 cli
5). type connect to radius
get the following message :-

db2 => connect to radius
SQL1224N A database agent could not be started to service a request,
or was
terminated as a result of a database system shutdown or a force
command.
SQLSTATE=55032

6). exit the cli and do a netstat again find that the db2inst2
listener has vanished.

7). Back into the cli and type list active databases and list database
directory - get the following

[db2inst2@dns2 instance]$ db2
(c) Copyright IBM Corporation 1993,2002
Command Line Processor for DB2 SDK 8.1.4

You can issue database manager commands and SQL statements from the
command
prompt. For example:
db2 => connect to sample
db2 => bind sample.bnd

For general help, type: ?.
For command help, type: ? command, where command can be
the first few keywords of a database manager command. For example:
? CATALOG DATABASE for help on the CATALOG DATABASE command
? CATALOG for help on all of the CATALOG commands.

To exit db2 interactive mode, type QUIT at the command prompt. Outside
interactive mode, all commands must be prefixed with 'db2'.
To list the current command option settings, type LIST COMMAND
OPTIONS.

For more detailed help, refer to the Online Reference Manual.

db2 => list active databases
SQL1611W No data was returned by Database System Monitor.
SQLSTATE=00000
db2 => list database directory

System Database Directory

Number of entries in the directory = 1

Database 1 entry:

Database alias = RADIUS
Database name = RADIUS
Local database directory = /databases
Database release level = a.00
Comment =
Directory entry type = Indirect
Catalog database partition number = 0

db2 =>
Any help appreciatec - how do i find out what's wrong with the
db/instance and fix it?

TIA
Alex
