Connecting to a database got no response

I have a database on DB2 server 8.1.
One of the databases in the same instance has the following problems,
while the others are working ok.
1. cannot connect to the database no matter from CLP or Control
Center;
2. cannot execute "db2stop force" successfully. If executing the
command "db2stop force", the command will be hanging on without
response, and if you check the DB2 service in the windows service
utility, you will find the service is keeping "stopping" unless we
restart the machine.
3. execute the command "list active databases", you will find there
will be no response, and the db2 CLP is dead.

Have you checked that your database instances are all using unique TCP/IP
service numbers?

Also, check that your total memory allocation (esp. bufferpools) over all
instances is not exceeding available physical memory - better still, that it
is leaving sufficient memory for other processes.
