IT - Database Administrator - S. California

Extensive experience with UDB EEE in an UNIX AIX environment.

Participate in modeling and design discussions of the DSA (Data
Staging Area) and DM (DataMart).Implement Logical, Physical, and
Dimensional models using ERWin diagrams. Implement physical databases
in a parallel database environment on AIX. Maintain and develop Unix
scripts for various jobs. Monitor performance of queries/reports/jobs
and tune them accordingly. This will include regular batch jobs as
well as MicroStrategy queries. Perform miscellaneous maintenance work
such as applying fixpaks, installing software upgrades, and problem
reporting.
Requirements:
Must have 4-6 Years experience in Data Warehouse and Database Design
Must have 4-6 Years experience in DB2 UDB
Must have 4-6 Years experience in UNIX/AIX

3 month contract
Up to $85/hr. DOE
