UDB V8 fp 5 to Datajoiner 2.1.2 fp 13

Can UDB V8 fp 5 connect to datajoiner 2.1.2 fp 13? We are receiving this error:

SQL30081N A communication error has been detected. Communication protocol
being used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location
where the error was detected: "10.92.1.183". Communication function detecting
the error: "recv". Protocol specific error code(s): "*", "*", "0".

I don't think connecting to v2-based products is supported with v8.
Datajoiner connections to DB2 v7 are supported, so you need v7 if you're
doing a migration.
