Conflict between DB2 WSE V8.1 and DB2 CONNECT V8.1 ?

For tests purpose, I have tried to install DB2 CONNECT V8.1 on a
separate partition but on a same Windows 2000 Server as the one on
which I had already installed DB2 WSE V8.1 + Fixpack 5
After installation of DB2 Connect, DB2 WSE commands don't work anymore
(no response at all !)
Desinstallation of DB2 Connect by means of 'WINDOWS Add/Suppress
programs' has been done without problem, but trying to uninstall DB2
WSE, I have got a fatal error. Any Idea ?
Thanks

Merci
d'avance

This works in version 7.2 Workgroup Edition, but it was 'fixed' in version 8
and is not allowed.
It's a licensing thing.
If you decide to do this, be careful - the install wacks some of control
center executables.
We got IBM to give us a special install to resolve this issue.

Some of the executables are the same - most likely in the c:\program
files\applications\common files directory.
