Backup Express

I am having a problem restoring a database with Syncsort's Backup Express.
The error I get is...

SQL2538N Unexpected End of File of Backup Image reached on media "".

The logs from Backup Express indicate that 28700k was backed up but only
28676k was restored. Has anyone else ran into this problem? What was the
solution?

Platform is AIX 5.2
UDB version is 8.1 FixPak 5
Backup Express version is 2.1.5
cmagent version 2.23
