Best Book Explaining Tuning UDB

Hello,

I have worked with Oracle and SAP over a number of years. I worked a
bit with DB2 and SAP, and I am expecting to do so in the future. I am
looking for a good book on tuning (For both OLTP and DSS, hopefully
for both Windows and Unix) UDB v8.x.

My preference is for a book containing mnay examples (i.e. This report
took X minutes. We took steps X and Y and improved it, etc..)

I am not looking for a book which spends a lot of effort explaining
*concepts* like clustered indexes, explain plans, etc.. as I
understand them.

Comeon mate .... Performance tuning is an art, not Science ....
With the concepts you know, get into it ... Like any other art, you improve
with practice ....

Unix and Windows has a chapter on Perf Tuning and a chapter stepping through
real life examples just like you described.
