SQL0804N on db2 connect v8.1

I was running DB2 connect V7.2 on Windows 2000 which connects to DB2
Z/os 7.1
Everything was working fine. I migrated one of my connect server to
V8 and now when I try to execute a stored procedure, I get :

SQL0804N The application program input parameters for the current
request are not valid. Reason code "103". If a host variable or
SQLVAR in the SQLDA is invalid then: host variable/SQLVAR number =
"1", SQLTYPE = "453", SQLLEN = "0", host variable/SQLVAR type =
"INPUT". SQLSTATE=07002

When i try to execut the same SP from V7 connect server , it works
fine.
I have not yet installed any Fixpak on V8 connect

Can anybody help me out with this ?

TIA
