"SQL1035N No database manager SQL1035N No database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019

Hallo colleques,

I get during the following error message "SQL1035N No database manager
command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019", when issuing the following
command on the Command Line Processor:
db2 => activate database sample
SQL1032N No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019
db2 => db2start
/home/db2inst2/sqllib/adm/db2star2: relocation error:
/home/db2inst2/sqllib/adm/db2star2: undefined symbol: sqloset
SQL1042C An unexpected system error occurred. SQLSTATE=58004

Hardware: MX4BS-Board, Celeron 1,6 GB
OS: Linux SuSE 8.0
DB2-Version PE V81 with FixPak4

Did you recently install a fixpack, but not execute the db2iupdt
afterwards? Try stopping all instances (including the DAS instance),
and (as root), run the commands:

/opt/IBM/db2/V8.1/instance/db2iupdt <instance>
/opt/IBM/db2/v8.1/instance/dasupdt <das_instance>

Then try starting the instances and see what happens.
