Create partitions on FOR BIT DATA column: how to?

Hi all,

as I'll unfortunately always be a newbie, I need your help on this
issue.
I need to suggest to our customers a way to crate partitions on our
tables, without having to add any new column there.
The primary key in our tables environment is always based on a FOR BIT
DATA column, coming from a GENERATE_UNIQUE function on Nt/AIX and from
a simple packed timestamp on MVS (safely generated between ENQ/DEQ
macros, to be sure it's unique).
I did not find any example to properly handle this task.

CLUSTER
( PART 1 VALUES(HEX'20040115000000000000000000'

This option does not work... And it's the only think I'm able to do!

Thanks in advance for your hints.

Bye.
