DB2 major migration from V7 to V8

Hi Folks,

Our company is facing to update DB2 UDB from v7 to v8 on AIX v5. I
searched from IBM website but got few document about that. Just
wondering anyone has the doc from IBM regarding the major migration.

Check the Migration section in the V8 Quick Beginnings Guide for Servers.

I read it. But I think it's a little bit simple. Like it didn't
mention how to convert type1 index to type2 index. Anything more
detail? Thanks

Just delete all indexes from a table and create them again or use the
reorg indexes command with the convert option.
