dangling message queues

I find dangling message queues keep accumulating on DB2 servers (V8.1,
Solaris) after remote loading with "load client" command. Just
wondering if there is a way to eliminate them. Otherwise the instance
needs to be bounced (ipclean may need to run) or servers need to be
rebooted. Any suggestions? Thanks,
