How to get the dependency tree for functions and procs

I found this in a FAQ

How can I locate the dependencies of an SQL procedure?

A: The dependencies are stored in the package of the stored procedure.
After creating a stored procedure, determine the name of the package.
Then locate the dependencies under SYSCAT.PACKAGEDEP for the package.

This seems un workable as the only way I have found to "determine the
name of the package" is to scan through the
SQLLIB\FUNCTION\ROUTINE\sqlproc directories. And determine it from the
files name of the code that is generated for the procedure.

Further this view only gives you the immediate dependencies not all
dependencies. E.G. if it reports that A is dependant on B but not the
B is dependant on C.

You could walk the tree ... it's probably just an adjacency list. But
maybe someone else knows a better way?
