Command Center multiple databases

On the command center how can I select from a table belonging to a
different database than I am connected to? I tried to qualify with
database name etc and didn't work.
Thanks

You have to create a nickname and use the federate function of DB2. You
might want to read about Federated in the SQL Reference manual.

Thank you! Don't know ought about Federated databases, thanks for the
pointer. I am guessing this would apply if I am using a java client
and JDBC as well, I would somehow create a connection to this
nickname?
