DB2 Connect Error SQL20081N

Hi,

We have a strange problem in our environment, we are invoking DB2
connect through VB.net program. We keep getting the following error
and even the ip address the first part is getting truncated to 2
digits. But the Db2 connection was up, and once we shutdown the com+
then things are back up.

Any help to resolve the same would be greatly appreciated,

IBM OLE DB Provider for DB2 Servers Message : [DB2] SQL30081N A
communication error has been detected. Communication protocol being
used: "TCP/IP". Communication API being used: "SOCKETS". Location
where the error was detected: "9.252.2.149". Communication function
detecting theʝ40003 Stack

Thanks
Siva

AFAIK, this (VB.Net via IBM OLE DB Provider) is not a supported combination;
you'll need to download the .NET driver. Alternatively, use the MS driver
for ODBC, and the IBM ODBC driver for DB2.
