Snapshot from DB2 to Oracle

Hi

Is there anyway to transfer data from Db2 to Oracle like Oracle's
snapshot?

I am doing this already using a java program which selects from source
DB2 (v8) and inserts into destination Oracle (8.1.7). Its one to one
insert.

I am wondering is there any DB2/Oracle tools which does this like a
snapshot or similar functionality.

Thanks

You can use IBM's Data Propagator Relational product, and you will also
need IBM Information Integrator to do the "translation" between DB2 and
Oracle.

You can use IBM's Data Propagator Relational product as Larry suggests
or contact Oracle about their
line of Transparent Gateways.

DB2
Hi there,

StarQuest has a DB2 to Oracle replication solution :
http://www.starquest.com/Productfolder/infosqdr.html

It is pretty simple to use and also includes scheduled replications.
