pmap on Solaris to monitor memory usage for DB2 and ipcs

Hi,

I was wondering if some people could help me here, I've been trying to use
pmap on the DB2 processes to determine how much
memory in total we are consuming for DB2 (shared + private).

Now I know that when I used pmap a year or so ago I could see the shared
memory with ismid behind the numbers and then the shmid.
But now I do not get that anymore. I do not remember if this is due to
possible OS patches or DB2 Fixpak. I'm seeing this in
UDB 7.2 FP5, UDB 7.2 FP8 and UDB 8.1 FP3. The only UDB versions we have. All
those systems have the same OS patches on Solaris 8.
Can someone else running Solaris 8 with UDB check to see if they get the
shmid and stating that it is ism?

Also, using ipcs -ma I see that UDB has 3 shared memory segments. Looking at
the creation time there are 2 segments for the database manager and 1
segment for the database.
The 1st segment for the DBM i've been able to determine from which
parameter(s) it is coming from (MON_HEAP_SZ).
However, the 2nd segment for the DBM is lost to me. I can not find out which
parameter this is coming from. This one ranges between 7mb to 13mb
and comparing the dbm and db cfg for those systems has not given me any
answers.

Then for the db segment, so far I've come up with:
Locklist, Package Cache Size, Buffer Pool, dbheap
for the configuration parameters, I also added 16 pages/pagesize for the
hidden bufferpools in DB2 for each pagesize. But I'm still not getting to
the total reported in ipcs. The difference on our production system is
actually about 300MB. Does anyone know what I'm missing here?
Thanks.
