What OS is your DB2 running?
May be check out the FastReader for data transfer from Oracle to DB2:
www.wisdomforce.com . As far as I know Fastreader supports moving
binary data from Oracle including BLOB, etc. And it supports DB2 on
Unix amd z/OS. And it is very fast.

Hi, I have these 2 problem? Is there a way in Oracle to read UNCOMMITED data. i.e. in Oracle the normal behaviour is that a user's updates to a table are visible to other users ONLY when the user commits. But in Informix there is this thing called ISOLATION LEVELS. For example by setting the ISOLATION LEVEL to DIRTY READ, a user will...

I scoured the groups for some hands on code to perform the menial task of exporting table data from an Access 2000 database to Oracle database (in this case, it was oracle 8i but i'm assuming this will work for 9i and even 10g ) No one had what I needed, so I wrote it myself. I Rule. This code isn't going for efficiency, and isn't trying...

When I did use it years ago, performance was not fast but the features were good enough. Now, the version of Access is 2003 with Office SP1 applied, Windows XP against Oracle 9.2. And attached tables are real slow - 5 mins...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
