DB2 UDB depends on an external C Compiler for building stored
procedures.

You need to set some DB2 registry variables in order to compile stored
procedures in DB2 UDB. Look at the following registry variable for
more information:

DB2_SQLROUTINE_ COMPILER_PATH
DB2_SQLROUTINE_ COMPILER_COMMAN D

The first one should be set to path of an ASCII text file which has
the absolute path to your C compiler

eg.

DB2_SQLROUTINE_ COMPILER_PATH=/home/db2inst1/sqllib/function/compiler_path

and contents of compiler_path file are:

/usr/bin/gcc

This is not true any longer. If you want to build LANGUAGE SQL procedures
on V8.2, there is no need for a C compiler on your development system.

(You do need such a compiler if you want to build LANGUAGE C procedures, of
course.)

Well, what do you want to do in your procedure? Once you know this, you can
figure out the best way to implement it.

Type this:

CREATE PROCEDURE p1() BEGIN END

In DB2 V8.2 for LUW this should work out of the box.

Does anyone know of a way to use PHP /w Authorize.net AIM without using cURL? Our website is hosted on a shared drive and the webhost company doesn't installed additional software (such as cURL) on the server because of that. Our site will have an SSL certificate next week, so I would like to use AIM instead of SIM, however, I don't know how...

Hello, I don't know if it is only me but I was sure that header("Location:url") redirects the browser instantly to URL, or at least stops the execution of the code. Hi All, What is the PHP equivilent of Oracle bind variables in a SQL statement, e.g. select x from y where z=:parameter Which in asp/jsp would be followed by some statements to bind a value to :parameter I dont like the idea of making the SQL statement on the fly without binding parameters as I dont want a highly polluted SQL cache.
