Absolute beginner looking for help/tips

Im absolute noob, i never ever programmed anything in my life. I finished chemistry and since it is very weak in my country, i need to start learning programming (seems interesting and takes a lot to learn it tho). So basicly i dont wanna learn it because i must, but because i want and i have time to afford into it.

Lets directly ask, im interested in creating websites (development). What should i start learning first? Which languages? Like any help/tips will be helpful. So act like you are answering to someone who has absolute zero knowledge about programming/web development.

Thanks and sorry for those noob questions.

Anyone can develop, but start looking into computer science concepts (Google it).
The languages you should be learning is based on several things, what environment, front-end, back-end, requirements, and lots of other things. You usually use the language based on the project, but the most common web languages are (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JQeuery, and possibly even Java but I wouldn't go down that route and it was my first language.

So here's a first project, really simple, I promise.
HARD CODED:
Build a web page of your income, expenses, and savings. Color code it to show the
difference between incoming and outgoing. Here's a clue: you'll need a table.

Keep in mind that this is HARD CODED so you don't have to worry about making any database links or creating lots of objects.

Good luck!
