Server Rack at home.... Switch and Server will not fit

I am new to the server racks and such. I have some networking equipment that I wanted to put in a rack instead of it sitting all together on a desk. I noticed it is too wide and doesn't really have the correct slots.

What do I have? How can I make it work?

@Luuk Thanks... That is what I need. I assume I need to measure the height and buy? Recommendations on some cheap ones?
