My project is to check all computers in office and rate them accordingly
measure processing speed and ram of all computers and rate them for different types of work
1. Database management and programming
2. Word processind like letter typing + internet work
3. Word processind like letter typing

What is minimum amount of ram and processing speed for these three type of work?
Are these 2 crieteria sufficient for my project?
can we increase processing speed?

Those are very good questions, but I suspect they're for you to learn as you do this project.

Each program should have a minimum set of requirements. You should be able to find these on the product web page, or - if the programs were purchased - on the boxes.

Once you do your inventory and find out what RAM and processors you have available, I would recommend changing them and seeing how that affects performance. Then you can also change other things as well to see if they impact performance. I would recommend looking at this by component - such as you are with RAM and processor - only on a bit larger scale (NIC, HDD, etc...). Also, what are the minimum requirements for each program? Were any requirements not RAM/proc? What happens when you modify those?

The last question on increasing processor speed I'll leave up to you as it's a simple yes/no as phrased. I'd recommend looking in the BIOS, though - that might help.
