You can program a computer to do just about anything. IBM's Watson does natural-language processing (think word games and associations). An assembly line builds other computers (think reproduction). Robots themselves are mobile.

It's really down to things like feel pain and act outside what we are told (programmed) to do, though there is a phrase used for what happens when unexpected code interacts with each other and produces an intelligent and unexpected result (at least there was in my video game theory class)
