Where is cache memory and bios located in a computer?

When we open casing how do we identify which is cache memory and where is bios (i.e which is rom?)?

The bios is an unremovable chip on your computers motherboard. The location of it varies depending on the model and manufacturer of your motherboard.

The best way to find out would be to look up the documentation of your motherboard on the manufacturers website.

The cache ram, which I believe you're referring to as the L1 and L2 cache are located directly on the CPU or Processor. The L1&L2 cache serve as an intermediary between the main physical ram and the CPU.
