display coldfusion files in IE 6.0

Hi !
Thia is a very basic question. I am absolutely new to coldfusion. I have a web application created in coldfusion. I have copied the whole applictaion directory structure with the files and created a virtual directory linking the same. now when i try to open a .cfm file from IE it shows the open/save dialog box and if i click open, it uses Deamweaver to open the file.
But I want to view the .cfm page in IE as any other html page. What other software do i need to install. Is it the Coldfusion server?
Please help.

Never mind. I could get a trial version of "Bluedragon" which allows "you to natively integrate and deploy your CFML on the .NET platform. Leverage BlueDragon for the Microsoft .NET Framework for native high-performance integration with COM, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C# and Visual Basic.NET."
(source: http://www.newatlanta.com/products/b...o/overview.cfm)
And hence I was able to display the coldfusion page in IIS.Thanks anyway.

It sounds like the virtual directory is not serving the cfm pages as cfm pages. Does the virtual directory have a Coldfusion server?

Ya..thats the case.Virtual directory does not have ColdFusion server. I read that BEA Weblogic server can be used to deploy CFML pages. I am trying to do the same. Please help if you have any experience of using Coldfuiosn without the proprietory Coldfusion server.

I don't have experience with Coldfusion server or Weblogic, so I probably can't help on this. Sorry.
