Time for some bad news....

The economy in general is terrible, particularly for freshers. Companies try to look for people who have a current job or have a strong background in what they are going to do (experience). The only ways to get this experience is to either know someone in the company or accept internships or contract positions. Be careful with contract positions because there's a chance those are the only positions you will find afterwards. It also helps A LOT if you had an internship in college. You will definitely not get an embedded position right from the beginning. The best way to get to this point is to find companies that do something like that and apply for positions you are more qualified to do. You can have an MS in CS, but with no experience, it's still hard to land a position. Just a side note, it took me about 3 years to finally get the job I have so keep looking, don't give up, be humble enough to accept other positions, and remember everything happens for a reason.

Hope that helps....
