Choosing between two different tech jobs?

Hi All,

I am verry confused to decide which comapny to join.
I have 2 offers at hand from 2 companies.
One is in networking domain but DNS application layer protocol maintance and bug fixing project. The skills are c,Linuxand python.

Another company in C,UNIX,SQL in financial domain.

Can anyone tell which one is good?

Thanks,

It depends what you want to do.

Do you want to be in the financial industry? The pressure there is higher, and the turnover in the industry is also greater, however if you are driven purely by money, it usually pays a bit better.

Being with a company that is in the networking space could be good, however it would mostly be commenting already written code and reading other people's code to perform bug-fixes. This would be highly ticket-based which I personally dislike, but does offer some advantages.
