A good book for beginners (C++)

Hi,

Enough about my background, I just want to to start learning C++. I have been watching thenewboston C++ tutorials and I learnt alot like functions, making a basic calculator, variables, if statements and so fourth. I just want a good beginners book that covers basic C++ in a level of English that I can understand. I have been looking to get C++ Primer 5th Edition.

I used the C++ Primer Plus as one of my books. Be sure to work all the problems and duplicate all the examples to prove you results match the results in the book.

When you finish the book, select another and repeat this process. Never read the same book twice.

It took 4 books for the light to turn on.
