Puts And Cout

What is purpose of using the puts() when cout is used as alternate properly......??

None, puts is an old C standard library routine, if you are writing C++ then you should always use cout.

well, puts automatically returns to a new line, while cout doesn't :D

Similarly, if you are writing in C then you should always use puts (or one of the allied put or print functions).
