a parse error at end of input in a C++ code while compilating

Hello
after this code i have this error :

void Vecteur3D::setX( double p)
{
x=x;
}

dunno whyyy ?
can anyone help me plzz

What is:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. x = x;
?

There is no variable x in the posted code. Besides not making any sense.

Also it would be nice to know what the error is. A "parse error" isn't very informative.
