dll compiled using VS2005 8.0.50727.762 can't be "found" on other computers

Hello all,
All of the computers in our company have been updated to Windows XP SP3.
Since then, if I compile a dll on my computer (using VS2005 8.0.50727.762) and have another computer run it (also XP SP3) the message "dll not found" is shown (the

hDll = LoadLibrary(TEXT("name.dll"));

command returns NULL).

To further clarify, I put the *.exe and *.dll (both codes compiled with VS2005 8.0.50727.762) on a shared disk. On my computer I successfully run it from the shared disk. Other computers, though, can't run from the same location - LoadLibrary fails.

Any ideas?

You are specifying a relative path. LoadLibrary will search for the dll using specififc rules:

We solved the problem by uninstalling VS2005 completely, and then installing it again. Now dlls that are compiled on my machine are "seen" by others.
