How to catch the System Error(1450) "Insufficient System Resource"

Hi All,

I have an C++ application which does lot of data backups. The application crashes when we run it in 64 bit with huge volume of data. The error thrown was "System error: WriteFile: Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. (1450.) Error code: 3221255523"

Since this is because of kernel memory, the suggestion I got was to catch this error and retry the operation again. After some tries, the kernel will succeed in allocating memory for this operation.

Is there a way to catch this exception in C++?

You need to catch a reference to an object of the type thrown.

If you can't find out the type throwmn yu need to catch(...). But now you probably can't see the error code.

If there's no throw then there's no catch.
