Role of iostream.h and iomanip.h in C++?

They have no role in Standard C++, the are the names often used by pre-standardisation compilers to contain the IO stream declarations.

In Standard C++ you should use the headers iostream and iomanip which contain standard stream declarations and stream manipulator declarations respectively.
