fatal error LNK1313: ijw/native module detected; cannot link with pure modules

P: n/a
I am getting a "mysqlcppconn-static.lib(mysql_driver.obj) : fatal error LNK1313: ijw/native module detected; cannot link with pure modules" error message in Visual C++ Stan Edit 2008. I am simply trying to connect my MS forms project to a MySQL database. I have the database connection code working just fine in a simple console "helloworld" program using the same IDE, pretty standard database connection stuff. I have researched online/forums, but haven't found anything that helps explain what I can do to get around this error. This may be because what I have found only really confuses me because I don't fully understand "pure models" versus non-pure models, or "native module"...never knew there were such things in the first place. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Probably you need to find where in the project options for your code is 'pure' set and change it to native or whatever model mysql driver is compiled to avoid this conflict. ( maybe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%2B%2B/CLI )
