CScape Legacy Code continued

A couple of years ago there was this thread (now closed):

http://bytes.com/topic/c/answers/648...pe-legacy-code

I basically have the same question as the original poster - where can I get information and documentation on this package. (I still have the SOURCE CODE, but some explanation of the thinking behind it would be helpful to me).

Anyway, Liant Corporation, which developed Cscape, was acquired by MicroFocus in 2008 which no longer seems to support CScape. Links found on google which seem to point to exactly the sorts of documentation I'm looking for lead nowhere - dead-ends on the MicroFocus site. As I recall, MicroFocus was a COBOL company and I'm guessing that they probably acquired Liant for some of its other products and have no interest in maintaining support for CScape.

So are there any other ideas on where to find the information I need?

Have you tried contacting MicroFocus directly or have you just surfed their web-page?

Also try searching Amazon.com for "C-scape cookbook"

Thanks for the book idea.
