C and LEGO Mindstorm

P: 29

I have a question about the use of C language to control

a robot built with the LEGO Mindstorm system.

what OS should i install on the lego ?

do i use the graphical language environment that comes

with the lego ? or there's something else ?

i want to control the robot from my computer.

So,what compilers do i have to install on the computer ?

i need opinions and tutorials because i'm very new at

this and i don't know where to start.

You start with the LEGO Mindstorm and determine which OS is being used.

I might me something like RTOS (Real Time Operating System) in which case you would need an RTOS compiler.

The compiler will determine how much of the C language you can use.
