Hi there!

C++ is a language, not a program. There are C++ compilers (the programs that you need to convert the code you write to something the computer can understand) which you can download, two of the better known ones being
  1. Microsoft VisualStudio Express (which includes an IDE = Integrated Development Environment), that can be downloaded here and
  2. GCC, a free and open source C/C++ compiler which doesn't come with an IDE but can be downloaded for many different systems. If you want to install on a platform different from Windows, this is probably the right choice and you can download it here.
