error in recursive makefile

Hi,
I am trying to build a recursive makefile, but it is giving error saying that..
' , needed for some object file.
I have the .c file for that obj file which it is trying to build.
So does this means that the error is coming from there? But didn't find some problem there.
Any idea what could be done, I am stuck with this error for past one week.

Run the make with all the debugging switched on (-d I think) and see if you can work out what it happening.
