Counting the number of times a user makes input errors

I am supposed to call a function (ERRORCOUNT(BOOL=TRUE) that is supposed to count how many times the user made an invalid error (entering values less than 0 or letters besides "A", "B", "C"). How can i do this with a simple static variable?

"ERRORCOUNT(BOOL=TRUE)" is not legal C syntax. What language are you using?

Unless ERRORCOUNT is some kind of macro. In any event this question is terrible. I recommend the OP review our FAQ regarding how to ask a question and try again.
