Rebuild App when update one of resource file

how can i make a dependency for resourc file for example ICONs or IMAGEs or... thet when i chang a icon the application rebuild or jast resource (.rc) rebuild ?

This appears to be more code/build management.
You want this task automated?

1. Have a task/process running that continually checks the file dates of the specified resource files.
2. If a file is updated, force a rebuild.

To be honest, it seems like overkill.
