Using Regex3 on windows

151 100+
I am trying to use regex3 lib for parsing the file in C using following program.

#include <sys/types.h>
#include <regex.h>
#include <stdio.h>

int main(int argc, char **argv) {
int r;
regex_t reg;

++argv; /* Danger! */

if (r = regcomp(&reg, *argv, REG_NOSUB|REG_EXTENDED)) {
char errbuf[1024];
regerror(r, &reg, errbuf, sizeof(errbuf));
printf("error: %s\n", errbuf);
return 1;
}

for (++argv; *argv; ++argv) {
if (regexec(&reg, *argv, 0, NULL, 0) == REG_NOMATCH)
continue;
printf("matched: %s\n", *argv);
}

return 0;
}

regex3.h no such file or directory.What is the reason for this?

Presumably regex3.h is included by one of the files you include, regex.h at a guess.

However either regex3.h is not on your system or it is in a path that the compiler has not been told about, therefore the compiler can't find it, hence the diagnostic.

But it is C library so should work.

But it is C library so should work.
Strange implication. And it's not a standard C library, it's a part of posix. Nevertheless, if it should work and it doesn't, something in its installation may be corrupted - missed files, wrong paths, etc.

No whatever library you are using it is not the C standard library it is some other extension library.
