Maybe you could read "Teach Yourself Data Structures and Algorithms in 24 Hours" by Robert LaFore.

It's always good to read book before you go further.

Basic defination of Link list is "chain of nodes". all nodes contain the data part and pointer which is pointing to the next node.

typical structure of linklist class is

class Node
{
public:
Node(int ReceivedNumber, Node *ReceivedNodePtr);
~Node();
private:
int AnyNumber;
Node *NodeNext;
};

A linked list may be a chain of nodes but this is not how you design a node, especially in C++.

You need to use templates since the nodes can contain any type of data and the node shouo no be a stand alone class since it is useless without a manager class. The node is usually a nested class within the manager.

In any case, in C++ use the std::list class where all this is already written and debugged for you.

Yes you are right and i know that too. But i was just showing what is the typical structure of each node in the list.
