binary data to image

2
Hi guys,

My project includes capturing image using camera to a microcontroller. Then i send the picture overTCP/IP to be displayed on the web browser..

I have finished everything, but stuck here..I have a bufffer with image acquired(in binary mode).I do not know how to change the binary data to image so that my browser can recognize it.

I coould save the image into a jpeg file, but my microcontroller does not have a file system..

Hope this makes sense, its been bugging me for a long time

Thanks in advance.

Does the web browser run on the microcontroller?
(Probably not.)

Is the image data transferred over TCP/IP at one time, with the web browser used to examine that data at a later time ... or does the web browser access the microcontroller over TCP/IP to acquire and display the image data in one fell swoop?

The microcontroller only has to pretend to store the image data in a file; that is, pretend well enough to accomplish a file transfer operation over TCP/IP.

First let me say thank you.

Everything is embedded on the microcontroller,

I am not sure what you mean by display the image data in one fell swoop, and The microcontroller only has to pretend to store the image data in a file; that is, pretend well enough to accomplish a file transfer operation over TCP/IP?Care to elaborate?

I plan to keep updating my buffer with new images and then stream,if the there is connection, otherwise store in an SD card as backup.

Answer you question?
