1
Does anyone know how to test if the monitor is a touchscreen or not in Microsoft Visual C++?

I can't think of one off the top of my head (although my knowledge is a bit rusty).

However a touch screen is just a pointer device as far as your program is concerned like a mouse or track ball so you question is a bit like can I detect if a mouse or trackball is attached.

Most normal programs do not need this information, they assume some sort of pointing device is available.

The one thing I can think of is to enumerate all the devices on the computer and look for the specific one of interest, this may be helpful for that.
