question about functions

the types of functions

value returning and void functions,

how do these work when writing a program by using different infiles.

how do void and value returning functions work when using data from txt files.


can you give me an example.

It depends on how you want these functions to work. Most functions don't care if they're being used in conjunction with files. For instance, if you made a function sum that takes 2 integers and returns their sum, the function works identically whether you are giving it variable values, hard-coded values, or values from a file.
